Like Mother Like Daughter...Ines and QB.

My 14 year old daughter Ines likes posing for the camera...but not as much as applying make-up on her pretty face and experimenting with different colors on her eyes all the way down to her toes! She would like to one day be a successful make-up artist.

BOMBAY DREAMS by Alex Baguio...the SLIDE SHOW.

video

This is for Alex Baguio for making me look good and incredibly "INDIAN!" You are truly amazing with the camera! I hope you enjoy watching the slide show as much as I enjoyed posing for you! Thank you too to Francois Medina who patiently held the reflector the entire shoot! Your patience made me look "FLAWLESS!"

Love you both and God bless! QB

BOMBAY DREAMS by Alex Baguio

Alex Baguio has done it again! These pictures were taken last Sunday in New York. The Indian themed shoot was done for fun and the pictures will be used for an Indian Party Invitation. There is one problem though, everything Alex took are great shots...it will be a problem choosing which one will make it on the invite...

Francois Medina was Alex' assistant and our other model was Ines...her pictures will be posted shortly.

VIRADOURO no Rio de Janeiro, Carnaval 2009

video

VIRADOURO, one of the two escolas de samba QB represented at the Rio de Janeiro carnaval was the last escola to parade on the Sapucai Sambodromo. The 70,000 spectators welcomed the members with the same energy as the first 6 escolas before them. Here is a collection of images taken before the escola's parade. Photo credits: Alex Baguio, Francois Medina, Francis Murphy and Jay Sta. Barbara.

VIRADOURO e PORTO da PEDRA no Rio de Janeiro

This must have been the toughest of all performances for QB. Porto da Pedra was the first to parade at the Sapucai Sambodromo in Rio de Janeiro. QB was a Destaque dressed like a borboleta or butterfly on the finale float then had to wait for 5 hours lying down on the grassy lawn of a building for the last and final escola to parade. QB was also Destaque on the 14-meter high and 7th float of VIRADOURO! It was already morning when the escola finished their passarela. What an unforgettable experience both for QB and her friends Alex, Francois, Francis, Jay and best friend Lucas...

Duas Escolas de Samba no Sao Paulo - NENE e VAI VAI

The heavy mantilha da cabesa for NENE de Vila Matilde and the elaborate fantasia of VAI VAI with albino peacock feathers!
